Food Revolution

Hello GOSH fooders,

Have you read on FB about my new involvement in the Food Revolution community? I am officially a Food Revolution Ambassador for London UK.
What does it mean?

It means that along with my passion for real & healthy food and lifestyle, as well as my constant battle to help you find a way of cooking, eating and living healthily, I volunteer for the Food Revolution. I give my spare time for free to further the mission of the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation. The Food Revolution has selected a number of volunteers from around the world who showed a deep commitment to real food and I’m thrilled to be one of them.

My main objective will be to teach children how to eat and live healthily.
I am already organising a day out with my Daughter's friends to go to the local farmers' market and make a healthy homemade snack from the real food we will shop there.
Also a perfect occasion to share some info on why crisps, sweets and sodas aren't the best snacks for kids and why eating better, eating real food is not that complicated.
Will tell you more about it later!

In the mean time, be ready for the 2013 Food Revolution day: Friday the 17th of May, 2013.

Food Revolution Day is our annual global day of action where people everywhere can stand up for real food and better food education. A united effort across all of Jamie’s foundation projects in the UK, US and Australia, the inaugural Food Revolution Day on May 19 2012 inspired global change in people’s food habits through community action. Over 1000 events, (460 local food events and 541 dinner parties) took place in 664 cities spanning 62 countries worldwide.

If you wish to be involved as well simply drop me an email: info@gosh-food.com
